House in Salthill
Lacken stone facing with limestone trims are used to anchor this inverted house to its site. Overlooking Galway golf club and beyond to Galway Bay and the Burren, all of the primary rooms are located on the first floor. This arrangement is future proofed by the provision of a domestic lift. The flying roof feature echoes the nautical setting.
To whom it concerns
We wish to confirm that our house was designed by Pat McCabe.
In addition to carrying out the detailed design of the house, Pat McCabe dealt with the planning process, and managed all aspects of the building program over the entire duration of the project. This involved monthly site meetings with all main contractors and provision of reports and minutes to the meetings to the clients. The resultant outcome is a house that has been designed and built to the highest possible standards.
It is one year since we moved into this house, and today we have a beautiful home that is the envy of all who see it.
We are delighted to recommend Pat McCabe to any prospective client.
