Ballinrobe House

This infill house in Ballinrobe seeks to regenerate a jaded streetscape and bring a family home back into the heart of the town. The “shard” like form of the house mediates between the scale of the existing single storey houses to the south and the two storey buildings to the north, in response to the context. The sloping south facing roof has solar arrays and the house is designed to near passive standard. The external form of the house facilitates dynamic and spatially interesting interiors.
